About: I have 3 years experience in producing science documentaries and news, having worked for NASA and an NBC affiliate. However, I'm interested in the possibility of using the fiction format to change the public's perception of environmental/scientific issues. So I am attempting to create a hybrid genre that mainly looks like fiction, but has a few documentary components. Werner Herzog is my hero. I'm looking for folks who are willing to experiment, are serious about their craft, but can also have a fun time of it. I need a crew too! Pass the word about the production...
Current & Upcoming Projects: June/July 2006 - "NEOS: National Earth Observing System" (working title) is a 22-minute dramatic television pilot. A 24/CSI/Discovery Channel hybrid created for completion of my M.F.A. in Science and Natural History Filmmaking at Montana State. The film will be shot at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center in HD 720/24p on 2 Panasonic tapeless P2 cameras. I will be actively looking for venues/film festivals/pitching sessions to show the program as many places as possible.
